On the last day of our Balkan foray... we had to hustle through the southern part of the Carpathian Basin to make it back to Pécs (Hungary). Needless to say, we didn't have time to tarry in Serbia.
We stopped in Belgrade, but it wasn't exactly what we had imagined for a break... we got stuck in the heart of the city in the heart of a two hour traffic jam in the morning work rush. Oh well...
Once we got through Belgrade, we made a bee-line for Novi Sad and finally had a chance to get out for some lunch. Novi Sad (sister city of Pécs) is said to be quite a cultural hub... so it would be cool to get back there sometime...
Ah, the end of another rad adventure... a few days of teaching and then a week in Berlin for the European Fulbright Seminar!
